Great jacket and price

All is good and as expected with this jacket.
I bought this as a dog walking jacket because it looked like it might be warm and was cheap but it's been upgraded to a regular jacket... I've been disappointed by the fit and finish of various items of clothing bought online and so had low expectations for it especially at this price point. This jacket is really nice though. It is made of a resilient exterior material so I don't get the small tears I used to get when I caught it on twigs and branches when walking in forests. The interior is sherpa lined, apart from the arms which are padded. It has a good amount of well thought out pockets which still look good when they have stuff in them (bulging pockets can ruin the line of clothing). I would have liked too have seen zips on the exterior pockets, but the shape of them is effective at stopping stuff falling out so it's not really necessary. In terms of the fit, I am a 36 waist, 42 chest and the EU XL fits well. It is designed to layer if necessary and it can fit a thick jumper or hoodie underneath, but still falls within the range of a good fit when I don't layer it. A trucker jacket is an established jacket design and so I think they have been able to take advantage of seeing what works in this style more than someone designing a jacket from the ground up. I was considering buying another one just to stick in the cupboard so that when this one gets old I have a direct replacement but I just don't think I'm going to be able to wear this jacket out. I really smash about on a dog walk, catching my clothes on brambles, climbing trees and occasionally falling on rough terrain. I've thrown this jacket in the wash on 30c and it comes out like new again. I would recommend this jacket to anyone but especially if you are someone who tends to wreck their clothing, because it will be challenge to mess this jacket up.
